First chance for island kids to audition for SJCT’s musical theatre camp production of Xanadu, Jr on April 22!

Kids ages 7 through 18 are invited to audition for acceptance into the Summer Musical Theatre Camp running July 17 – Aug. 6 at San Juan Community Theatre. This year’s show, Xanadu, Jr, follows the journey of a magical and beautiful Greek muse who descends from the heavens of Mt. Olympus to Venice Beach, California, on a quest to inspire a struggling artist to achieve the greatest artistic creation of all time – the first Roller Disco! There are two chances to audition, Saturday, April 22 from 4-5 pm and Saturday, May 20 from 4-5 p.m. Auditions will be held at the PARC Building located at 70 Saltspring Drive. Kids only need to come to one session and do not need to prepare anything in advance. Just come prepared to sing, move and have fun! If you would like to audition but are unable to attend, please email Penelope Haskew at penelope@sjctheatre.org.
