Learn the basics of hospice care

Submitted by Hospice of the Northwest.

Join Hospice of the Northwest at the Mullis Center Feb. 27 at 1 p.m. for a Hospice 101 presentation at The Mullis Center. Participants will learn the basics of hospice care: the type of support it provides to patients and families, eligibility requirements, how it’s paid for, and how to get started.

This class is appropriate for adults of any age who are interested in learning about hospice care and the difference it makes in the lives of people facing a life-limiting illness.

There are many myths and misconceptions about hospice, so the truth may surprise you! The class is free and open to the public. If you have questions, please contact Hospice of the Northwest at 360-814-5550.
