Get to the Lagoon, last chance for this year’s final ‘Know Your Island Walk”

This month’s Know Your Island Walk, led by Steward of the San Juan County Land Bank Doug McCutchen, is at the Third Lagoon at Cattle Point, Saturday, Oct. 22, 1 p.m.

Meet at the terminus of Cattle Point Road, near the Cattle Point Lighthouse and park on the side of the road. This easy to moderate walk is 1.5 miles of dirt and gravel trails and beach.

Bring your binoculars, but no dogs because there will be some birding. For more info, call 378-5646.
