Knowing we have this community behind us gives me hope for the future

I would like to say that I am shocked by this act of kindness, but I am not. I have grown up on this island witnessing the amazing acts the community does for one another. I am humbled by the constant generosity and love we have received on a daily basis. Despite moving away, this will always be home to me.

Regarding the fund-raiser for Sophia Grace Krieg:

I am humbled by the constant generosity and love we have received on a daily basis. Despite moving away, this will always be home to me.

We want to thank everyone for this incredible fund-raiser, and for those who took the time to come by, give hugs and words of encouragement. We are still so in awe of the entire event and are incredibly thankful for all who donated the thoughtful items for the auction and the dinner.

This island has a way of wrapping you in its arms, comforting you and showing one how loved they really are. Knowing we have this community behind us gives me hope for the future.
