Meeker claims 2nd place, Bolger, Rousar seal Tri-District berth
Two days after claiming the league title, Friday Harbor sophomore Kendra Meeker, a state tournament-qualifier a year ago, nearly claimed a second consecutive crown, falling to to District champion Jordan Wyrick of King's High School by a single stroke in the District 1 playoffs, Saturday in Bellingham.

Blackmon shatters school record; four Wolverines net berths at Tri-Districts | Track & Field
With a school 300m hurdles record in the bag, freshman Willie Blackmon joins senior Lucas Jagel (discus), junior Aaron Prager (long jump and triple jump) and sophomore Alaina Scheffer (javelin) in qualifying for the tri-district meet, which in turn is a qualifying event for the state 1A/1B/2B league meet set for Cheney on May 25 and 26.

FH men claim second in four-team match up | Track & Field
The Wolverines catapulted into contention with a pair of first-places finishes, and sealed then a second-place finish on the strength of a trio of second place finishes: Jarray Napier, 11.97 seconds in the 100-meter sprint; Sam McMain, 12:24.25 in the 3200; and Aaron Prager, 16'11.5" in the long jump.
