Fall 2014 turned out to be a blockbuster sports season for the Wolverines; the trophy case may need a new wing.
Arno Issanjou tallied his third hat-trick (three goals in a game) of the season and the Wolverines showed one of their strongest defensive performances, limiting the Crusaders (11-8) to only a handful of shots and leaving goalkeeper Dalton Ayers with little to do.
With the game still scoreless in the 25th minute, the Bears would be whistled for a foul about 30 yards from their goal and there was no doubt who would strike the free kick, as Domenech stepped up to the ball.
With Friday Harbor trailing 6-0 after three quarters of play, senior Bill Revercomb broke through the Red Raiders defensive front and galloped 25 yards into the end zone to tie the score with eight minutes remaining in the non-league contest, Thursday, Nov. 6, in Friday Harbor.
