Reading is all over the world. Many people have different opinions of it. Some ask, “Why read? What’s it good for?” There are so many answers.

One reason is that people use reading as a relaxing period after work. Some people also use reading to help with their grammar. Books can also help with problems in life. Reading can help in more ways than anyone really knows.

Have you ever had a long, hard day at work and all you wanted to do was open a nice book and read? Well, I know I have. It’s proven that reading is actually more relaxing than TV. The reason why is because with TV our mind and eyes strain to keep up with the pictures and the animations of the movies. With reading, our minds can relax and just take the sentences word by word. I personally think that everyone should read rather than watch TV.

Books also improve your writing. Reading the sentences in a book makes our brain realize that that’s how you’re supposed to say it. Then, later, you’re talking like that without even noticing. It’s the number one way to learn speech correctly. The reason why is because the sentences stick in our mind and help us with our writing.

Have you ever had a horrible problem? Well, believe it or not, books can help with problems, too! Many people pull out a book for help. Most books are based on life problems. It sounds strange, but it’s true. Books can give you a good idea for what to do or how to do it. It’s an awesome way to learn how to get through high school, bullies, or even crushes and friends. Many authors and musicians base their books and music on their problems in life as well.

Reading can help in more ways than people know: relaxing, writing, and even problem solving. Everyone should pick up a book and enjoy the sweetness of the words.
