World-Class Opera Theatre streaming live at San Juan Community Theatre!

There are four opportunities this February to have a live-streaming experience of the Metropolitan Opera and the National Theatre at San Juan Community Theatre. Our streaming programs bring world-class entertainment to San Juan Island, allowing patrons to sit front row at some of the world’s most critically acclaimed performances at a fraction of the cost. On Feb. 11 at 1 p.m., watch Renee Fleming’s highly-anticipated return to the Met in The Hours, an adaptation of the novel by Michael Cunningham. Then Feb. 21 at 7 p.m., Ralph Fiennes stars in the National Theatre production of Straight Line Crazy following master manipulator Robert Moses as her changes the landscape of New York City. Feb. 25 at 1 p.m, Umberto Giordano’s exhilarating drama Fedora returns to the Met repertory for the first time in 25 years. Packed with memorable melodies, showstopping arias, and explosive confrontations, Fedora promises to deliver. And finally, on February 28th at 7 pm, the National Theatre presents an adaptation of Shakespeare’s rom-com Much Ado About Nothing set in the Italian Riveria.
