The Elves of the Friends of the Library have been busy creating a welcoming holiday sale to support funding for programming, online databases, hot spots and other Library special needs. We are proud to host our fundraiser market on Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. There you will find delicious holiday treats all wrapped up with a bow! Also, we have prepared holiday, island-made swag for decorating your doors and gates. There is a large selection of gifts, including island-made Christmas ornaments, unusual finds, small presents and collectible books of every sort. Of special interest are the silent auction baskets. You will find specialty food baskets, pet baskets, a stranded ferry passenger basket, beauty baskets and much more. The silent auction on the baskets will run Dec. 2 through Dec. 9 with the winners announced on Saturday, Dec. 9 in the late afternoon. Come one and all to support the Library in a fun and holiday way.
