The second semester Friday Harbor High School Community Service-Learning class started Jan. 30. This class utilizes committed adult mentors who will guide students through the completion of a service project related to community improvement. This is a great opportunity for a win-win partnership between students and local organizations. If you have ideas for a community improvement service project, a 15 minute in-class presentation time can be arranged on Feb. 1 – 3 , from 10:25-11:20 a.m. Contact Jenny Wilson at jwilson@sjisd.wednet.edu for information.
