Join the pack for a frisky, fun 5K (3.1 miles) race on Sunday, Oct. 2, 12 p.m., at Roche Harbor Resort and loops around White Point Road, where you can walk or run along side your four-legged friend.

Prizes will be awarded to top finishers in different dog size categories as well as for best race costume.

Register with you and a dog or as a family with a dog.

Dogs must be on a leash of at least six feet and be well socialized. Entry is $5 for individuals, $10 for a family in advance or $10 for an individual or $20 for a family the day of the race from 11 a.m.- 12 p.m. Register online at www.islandrec.org or stop by the Island Rec Office at 580 Guard St. from 1 – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.
