We are supporting Warren Appleton for SJI Fire Commissioner District 3. While we have two good candidates for this elected office, Warren is a better choice. There has never been a more credentialed candidate for the Fire Commissioner position. We will need those skills as the department unravels the problems of the past five years. The Fire Department has many dedicated, talented men and women who have given their hearts for the department and the community.

The problems have always been about the weakness of the Fire Commission and the lack of leadership from the Chief. Warren will break that mold and bring transparency to the department.
