Unstable president | Letters

First I want to apologize to anyone who is offended by what you are about to read.

I still have the right to speak my piece as a citizen of this country, and a human being. This has to be said.

We now have a president who is mentally unstable and unfit to run our country and it seems there is not enough sane people left to stand up and say “Whoa!!!” We are not just Republicans, or Democrats anymore. We are the people.

The man now sitting in the highest office in the land has delusions of grandeur, just to mention one of his many quirks. If he doesn’t like the numbers, he’ll do his best to find a way to change them. No matter what the cost to the taxpayer, i.e. me and you.

He can’t take the fact he lost the popular vote, is just a start. Now he wants us to spend God knows how much to “investigate” voter fraud in his opinion, which even common sense and the Republicans know is crazy, etc.

The late great Will Rogers left these three important bits of wisdom among others to the American people: When asked if voters could be fooled he replied “Darn tootin’ all of the bunk handed out during a campaign, the biggest one of all is to try and compliment the knowledge of the voter.”

When asked about a candidate’s image he replied “Bally Hoo! I hope there is some sane people who will appreciate dignity and not showmanship in their choice for the presidency”
