Me and Jillian Urbach would like to personally apologize for not crediting Browne’s Home Center in terms of our project (“Urban and Loucks present cat posts to anima shelter” the Journal edition 12/9).

The sentence “With the funds raised they purchased the supplies needed to build the scratching posts” is incorrect. All funds raised through the dog wash event were donated to the Animal Protection Society, as the materials for the scratching posts were donated by the kind people at Browne’s Home Center.

We would once again like to say how sorry we are for not crediting Browne’s prior to now.
