San Juan Community Home Trust’s First Annual Ride for Housing raises $45,000 for permanently affordable housing | Letter

On Sunday, Sept. 24 the Home Trust hosted the First Annual Ride for Housing. 44 cyclists hit the road to pedal for affordable housing on San Juan Island. Together they raised $23,300 for the Home Trust and pedaled 1,287 miles around the island.

The ride ended at the San Juan Brewery, where riders, supporters, friends, and family gathered for lunch by Paellas San Juan, live music, a raffle, and silent auction. All in all, the Ride for Housing raised just under $45,000 for permanently affordable housing on San Juan Island.

Thank you to the riders, sponsors, donors, and community for coming out and making the First Annual Ride for Housing such a success!
