Questioning reopening | Letter

I am writing as an island resident and retired physician/surgeon. Our islands have a higher percentage of retirees than any other county in the state. Nonetheless, the politicians are stumbling over themselves to open the islands up. Such a move ignores the interests of the retired public. Perhaps the retirees will let them know at election time.
