Thanks, Fred Bowen, for your letter regarding Growler noise; I couldn’t agree more.

Apparently, some think only of their own wants and comfort, totally missing the bigger picture.

As long as there is unrest and threat of conflict in this world, we must be prepared; prepared well.

If that means an occasional exposure to the “Sound of Freedom,” please endure, tolerate and be appreciative. We should be thankful to live in these beautiful islands, even though not everything is perfect.

We should be thankful to live in this great country and for the military that guard our freedom.

I suggest giving the “Growlers” two thumbs up every time we hear them performing the awesome and important job of protecting our way of life.
