The Friday Harbor track team is a force to be reckoned with this year, full of returning athletes and rising stars.

“Friday Harbor track and field is very excited to have such a large team with lots of returning starts,” Head Coach Shannon Plummer said, and they are excited for the season, and already have a few tournaments under their belt.

The next meet will be on March 22 at Coupeville. March 29 they head to Mount Vernon Christian, and March 31, Trojan Twilight. Unfortunately, according to Plummer, Friday Harbor is unable to host any tournaments due to the high school track only having five lanes rather than the required eight.

Nonetheless, these young athletes are ready to sprint and jump their way to the state championship.
