Brent Johnson, candidate for San Juan County sheriff, will be at a “Meat” & Greet BBQ on Oct. 2, noon to 2 p.m., at the former Fat Cat Cafe on the corner of Nichols and A streets.

The campaign invites the public for some barbecue. “Brent looks forward to meeting with you to share his vision for the Sheriff’s Office and our community,” his campaign website states. “Bring friends and neighbors along with questions and concerns.”
