Toybox now all-women owned, staffed

Founded by Nancy Buechner in 1993, the Toybox, 20 First St., is celebrating 20 years in business, and with the addition of Jade Cooper-Yockers and Sabrina Helton, is now an all-women owned and operated enterprise.

Jade Cooper-Yockers and Sabrina Helton have joined Nancy Buechner at the Toybox, making the venerable Friday Harbor toy store an all-woman run and owned enterprise.

Founded by Buechner in 1993, the Toybox, 20 First St., is celebrating 20 years in business this year. It features unique, fun merchandise for every age, including puzzles, games, educational toys, dolls, art supplies and much more.

“I’m extremely proud of our new staff members, and excited to continue supplying the island with fun and functional toys, games and supplies for our next 20 years,” Buechner said.
