Halloween events started with the annual Halloween parade Oct. 31, and lasted into the evening.

Starting at 9 a.m., islanders get a glimpse at the elementary school students’ costumes as they march from the elementary school down Argyle to Spring and back to the school again.

The county gave haunted courthouse tours as part of the 150 birthday celebrations as well as providing a little insight behind the ghost stories. County staff do indeed have some stories to tell.

Julie’s Nursery also had a haunted house and so many other events around town, not to mention the trick-or-treaters!
