Lower Spring Street road closure and overnight construction noise

Citizens are advised that lower Spring Street from First to Front Street will be closed between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. for four consecutive nights starting May 7 to allow for construction at 40 and 50 Spring Street. The sidewalk on the west side will be closed May 7 through May 11. The Town of Friday Harbor has issued a noise variance for nighttime construction work during this time.
The Town recognizes the inconvenience and appreciates its citizens’ patience as efforts are made to expedite reconstruction of the block destroyed by last year’s fire.
