The Town of Friday Harbor is recruiting to fill a vacancy on the Historic Preservation Review Board.

The Review Board assists owners of historic buildings in town, and advises the Town Council on issues concerning the town historic district.

The town is seeking to fill one vacancy on the 5-person volunteer panel, and anyone interested in urban planning, architecture, design and history may apply.

Members of the board need not live within the town, but must live on San Juan Island and attend two 2-hour meetings each month.
