Some danced. Some sang. some tossed eggs.
Others wore face paint or rifled through mounds of hay in search of treasure.
A full slate of activities and the best day of summer, so far, greeted islanders and visitors alike at the annual 4th of July Pig War Picnic, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club.
If you are among those who thought the Soggy Bottom Boys… oops, girls… stole the show, you have company.
