The sixth annual Three Lakes Triathlon and 17th annual Kings San Juan Island Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K happened at Lakedale Resort from June 16-17 under sunny skies and unseasonably warm temperatures.

Local runner Alajandra Hughes, in the photo above, captured the women’s marathon title with a time of 3:56:33. Friday Harbor’s Jared Dallman place fourth in the men’s division with a time of 3:45:54. The overall winner, Dan Sloat from Seattle, finished in 2:52:12.

In the olympic triathlon, Zach Rowland of Friday Harbor placed fourth at 2:36:40, while the overall winner, Sergio Clemente Filho from Kirkland, Washington, finished in 2:15:00.
