Bird lecture at The Whale Museum

Submitted by The Whale Museum

The wide variety of birds that live on the San Juans is part of the beauty of island life, but they can present challenges. People enjoy birds visiting feeders, but are sad when they hit windows; they are thrilled to see majestic eagles soar overhead, but don’t want them taking fish from their ponds.

Find out about local birds and discuss ways to reduce conflicts at 7 p.m., Thursday, June 21 at The Whale Museum.

This lecture series is free and open to the public. For more information, call 360-378-4710 ext. 30 or email info@whalemuseum.org.
