We offer a huge thank you from the SJ Public School Foundation to all who helped make the 22nd Annual Knowledge Bowl a wonderful event! We are grateful to Brent Snow for serving as our Master of Ceremonies, the SJ Community Theatre and its staff for hosting the event, the school and service club teams for being both brave and smart, Fred Woods and Gordy Waite for collecting the questions, the student timers and scorekeepers, the FHMS PTA for the bake sale, Cart Nelsen and the FHHS Jazz Band for musical entertainment, Derek Smith for the STEM presentation, Debbie Taylor for the FHES slideshow, Mystical Mermaid and Deer Hazel for the door prizes, Tia’s Tacos, The Palace Theater, Bonnie’s Craft Shop, The Bean Cafe, Spring Street General Store, Griffin Bay Bookstore, Friday Harbor Espresso, and Rocky Bay Cafe for the prizes for the winners, Danna Diaz and Islander’s Bank for sponsoring the two big questions, and all the parents and friends in the audience.
