Island Rec and Peace Health want you to walk, run or convert one of your other favorite fitness activities into 300 Miles in September! Do this challenge solo, with your friends, or family. Four members per team, ages 12 and up. You can track your distance using your smartphone or watch, on many free available apps. To track other activities, visit our website, www.islandrec.org to see what qualifies and how to convert. If you don’t have access to a smart device, download a printable worksheet from our website.
Feeling social? Tag us in your photos each week (@IslandRec and #islandrec300) on Instagram or Facebook and be entered to win a prize from a local business, as well as a Lucky winner at the end, for the most mileage completed! All mileage must be completed from September 1-30, and be submitted to Morgan no later than Oct. 2.
