Friday Harbor baseball fans enjoyed a good game as well as a bake sale and concessions — and they bid for hot auction items, among them autographed Mariners baseballs and jerseys.

With the help of a few alums, the current Wolverine players beat the alumni team 9-2.

Richie Ochoa, Class of 2009, who will play baseball for Washington State University next season, scored the only home run of the game.

Kim Warin, wife of long-time Friday Harbor baseball coach Rich Warin, thanked the community for its support of the event — especially the businesses that donated items for the silent auction and those who volunteered to make the fund-raiser a success.

She particularly thanked the Friday Harbor Masonic Lodge, which donated the food for the concessions.
