The Washington State Coaches Association ranks Connell as No. 1 among 1A volleyball teams. Friday Harbor didn’t make the top 10.

The rankings are based on each team’s win-loss record and performance.

Connell is followed by Goldendale, King’s, Cedar Park Christian, Chewelah, Lakeside of Nine Mile Falls, Nooksack Valley, Lynden Christian, Omak and Kiona-Benton.

The association ranks Lopez High School No. 10 among 1B volleyball teams. The top-ranked 1B team is Tekoa-Oakesdale.
