NOTICE OF SPECIAL COMMISSION MEETING: Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of the Port of Friday Harbor will hold a Special Commission Meeting on Friday, January 20, 2017, 4:00pm at Ernie’s Café 744 Airport Circle Dr. Friday Harbor, Washington. The purpose of the Special Meeting will be for the Port Commissioners to discuss and possibly take action concerning (1) the appointment and compensation of interim management of the Port until a new executive director is hired, (2) the adoption by the Port Commission of a letter sent by the three commissioners to local news publications in December, 2016, (3) an Executive Director search facilitator.
