San Juan County Sheriff’s Office responds to single vehicle, double fatality on Orcas Island

On Aug. 22, around 5:41 a.m., the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a single-vehicle accident, possibly involving a fatality on Crow Valley Road near the intersection of Pleasure Horse Road. Multiple deputies responded to the scene and discovered that tragically both the driver and passenger were deceased. An investigation is ongoing to confirm the identities of both victims and to notify family members of the deceased. The San Juan County Sheriff’s Office respectfully requests everyone to respect the privacy of the victims, their families, and friends.
