Power out on Shaw and Orcas

At approximately 6:00 a.m. outages were reported for all of Shaw and Orcas islands, leaving residents with no power. At 8:55 OPALCO reported that the outage is still affecting all of Shaw and part of Orcas.

At approximately 6:00 a.m. outages were reported for all of Shaw and Orcas islands, leaving residents with no power. At 8:55 OPALCO reported that the outage is still affecting all of Shaw and part of Orcas.

According to OPALCO crews have located the disruption and power is expected to be restored by noon today.
