Wilson Derby, Week 7: Nibler nets weekly prize, holds on to 2nd place

With the prize-winning catch of the week, Justin Nibler remains in second place on the leader board with three weeks to go in the annual 10-week fishing derby. But perhaps best of all, he edged out fishing buddy Kevin Klein, by only .47 pounds, to snare the derby's award for the week's biggest fish. “I bumped him the week before, so I guess turn about is fair play,” said Klein, the Week 6 winner.

Justin Nibler snared a 14.66-pounder to take home the weekly prize in Week 7 of the Frank Wilson Memorial Fishing Derby, a $75 gift certificate from Kings Marine.

With the prize winning catch, Nibler also kept claim on second place on the leader board with three weeks to go in the annual 10-week fishing derby. But perhaps best of all, he edged out fishing buddy Kevin Klein, by only .37 pounds, to take on the weekly award and to keep hold of the runner-up position.

“I bumped him the week before, so I guess turn about is fair play,” said Klein, the derby’s Week 6 winner. “That’s when this tournament gets fun…watching that leader board change.”
