Ellen Roberts and Judy Lingerfelt exchanged vows at a wedding ceremony hosted on the patio of the San Juan Community Theater’s Steele Memorial Garden, July 18.

The ceremony took place beneath a traditional chuppah designed and created by Lingerfelt, and was performed by Rabbi Sarah Newmark of Gig Harbor. About 100 of the newlywed’s family and friends attended the ceremony, which featured a performance of a traditional wedding song by  local singer Angel Michaels. A reception followed.
