Submitted by The San Juan Islands Museum of Art

On Valentine’s Day in 2015, San Juan Islands Museum of Art opened its doors for the first time. The museum will host a ninth anniversary celebration on Wednesday, Feb. 14, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wine and prosecco will be available for purchase and desserts will be provided. The event is free to the public, no reservations required.

The Artists’ Registry Show is currently on exhibition. The museum hopes to see you there.

Also, Family Art Days are running through Feb. 24!

All workshops are free and open to children (five and older) accompanied by at least one adult (family member, friend, or mentor). These workshops offer the opportunity for both the children and the adults with them to participate in hands-on art activities led by artists in the stimulating environment of the museum.

Don’t miss this chance to attend a workshop led by artists participating in the current Artists’ Registry exhibit at SJIMA and will include brief visits to view the artist’s works on display.

Location: 540 Spring Street, Friday Harbor, WA 98250.
