San Juan Concours returns to benefit local charities

Submitted by the San Juan Island Rotary Club

After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, our local Rotary Club with co-sponsor Sports Car Club will be celebrating their 14th annual car show, San Juan Concours, formerly known as Concours d’Elegance. We purposely lowered our registration fee to $10. for cars, trucks, or motorcycles to encourage entrees with a story to tell. Don’t we all love a good story?

Please join us on Sunday, August 14th at the San Juan Vineyard, 11 a.m .- 3 p.m., to see great and fun cars. Lunch under the pavilion: coffee/muffins and hotdogs/burgers (veggie too), delicious homemade cakes & cookies, and music by Argyle Street Jazz Band. Of course, San Juan Vineyard wine.

With limited parking and soaring gas prices, we encourage carpooling. Roche Harbor Express (ferry landing) will stop at the Vineyard to and from Roche Harbor.

All net proceeds go to local non-profits: Joyce L. Sobel Family Resource Center, Family Umbrella Group, Mobile Dental Van, and Polio Plus of Rotary International. Each group will be at the Pavilion.
