Next up in Know Your Island Walk Series? Third Lagoon

It's spring, so expect to see wild flowers, marine birds, and forested wetlands in a 1.5-mile walk at Third Lagoon.

KNOW YOUR ISLAND WALK, APRIL 27, 2013—1-4PM

Meet Eliza Habegger, San Juan County Land Bank Steward, to explore National Parks’ trails at Third Lagoon.

It’s spring, so expect to see wild flowers, marine birds, and forested wetlands.

Park and meet at Third Lagoon trailhead, at the end of Cattle Point Road, about a 1/2 mile beyond the Cattle Point Interpretive Canter near Cape San Juan.

Park on the roadside across from Marine Lane (look for orange cones). The walk will span 1.5 miles, the terrain is easy; dogs welcome, but must be on a leash. The walk will proceed come rain, or shine.
