Lime Kiln, Whale Museum featured on KPLU program

Tune in Thursday morning and afternoon to listen to KPLU's feature on Lime Kiln State Park and The Whale Museum, broadcast as part of the public radio station's "Tourist in Your Own Town" series.

 

Lime Kiln Point State Park and The Whale Museum will be featured in a story on KPLU Public Radio Thursday, Aug. 22.

The feature is part of KPLU’s ongoing series entitled, “Tourist in Your Own Town.” KPLU reporter Paula Wissel interviewed Whale Museum Director Jenny Atkinson, Patti Wickham of Friends of Lime Kiln Society and professor Bob Otis of Ripon College, who has been conducting research of involving park visitor’s reactions to killer whales about 20 years, for the story.

The feature will be air as part of KPLU’s Morning Edition segment, 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., and later during the afternoon broadcast of All Things Considered.
