Learn CPR with Island Rec and San Juan Island EMS

Submitted by Island Rec

For those who missed the September session of a first aid and CPR class, Island Rec and San Juan Island EMS will hold another in December.

CPR stands for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.

Upon successful completion of this class, participants will walk away with life-saving skills and a first-aid certification from the American Heart Association that is valid for two years. This is an ideal class for parents, babysitters, volunteer coaches and recreation leaders.

This class is for ages 15 and up and will take place from 5:30-9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 4, and Wednesday, Dec. 5, at the Frank Wilson EMS building. Early registration, which lasts until Nov. 22, is $47. The registration fee is $5 more thereafter.

For more information and registration, visit www.islandrec.org, call the office at 360-378-4953 or come into the office between 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
