Pete and Erin Ancich are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Layla Evelyn Ancich, on Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Layla was born at Stevens Hospital in Edmonds, Wash., at 1 a.m. She weighed 6 pounds 8 ounces and was 19.75 inches long.

Pete and Erin Ancich are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Layla Evelyn Ancich, on Tuesday, July 27, 2010.

Layla was born at Stevens Hospital in Edmonds, Wash., at 1 a.m. She weighed 6 pounds 8 ounces and was 19.75 inches long.

Pete and Erin are long-time residents of San Juan Island (Erin is a 1994 Friday Harbor High School graduate). Grandparents are Pastor Archie and Carrie Brooks of Friday Harbor, and Antone and Mary Ancich of Seattle. Great-grandparents are Evelyn Daniel of Garibaldi, Ore., Beverly Coco of Seattle, Wash., Jack Harvey of Seattle, Wash., and Helen Ancich of Seattle, Wash. She has multiple aunts, uncles and cousins who welcomed her home to Friday Harbor.
