Islander Roger Morris was interviewed for The American Experience, The Life of Henry Kissinger.” The documentary will be broadcast on PBS on Monday, Oct. 27 and Tuesday, Oct. 28.

According to Chita Miller, Morris was on the National Security Council staff and worked directly under Kissinger from 1969 to 1970. He was one of the only two senior staff members intimately involved with Kissinger’s secret talks with the North Vietnamese.

Morris resigned from the White House after the decision to invade Cambodia in 1970.
