Island Artisans 46th annual Holiday Market and Fundraiser Thanksgiving weekend

Submitted by Island Artisans

Your favorite annual holiday shopping event is coming! The 46th Island Artisans Holiday Market Fundraiser will be held on Friday, Nov. 24 and Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023 at the San Juan County Fairgrounds.

The holiday market will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25. Come see your favorite artisans and many new ones! Stacy will be serving wonderful food and the outside eating area will be warmed by heaters.

Island Artisans is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1978 to raise scholarship funds for young artists within the community. The holiday market is the primary fundraiser for those scholarships. It is a juried show and sale by San Juan County artists, with each participating artist donating 10% of their sales to support the scholarship program.

More than $12,000 in scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors annually. Additional donations and volunteers are welcome.

This year’s event is sponsored by Maya’s Legacy Whale Watching, Banner Bank, King’s Market, Friday Harbor Freight, Harbor Rental & Saw shop, Browne’s Home Center, Vinny’s, Dockside Treasures and San Juan Coffee Roasters. This is a great opportunity to support our students while supporting our local artists, designers and craftspeople!
