Help for Washington artists

Submitted by Artist Trust

Right now, Washington State artists are facing severe career disruption, financial loss, anxiety, and isolation from the crisis surrounding COVID-19. In response to this urgent need, Artist Trust is pressing pause on business as usual to focus all our resources on two things: The COVID-19 Artist Trust Relief Fund, and COVID-19 Online Artist Relief and Recovery Resources. The COVID-19 Artist Trust Relief Fund is a rapid response grant program that will put cash grants directly into the hands of Washington state artists now.

If you’re an artist in need, visit artisttrust.org for more information and to apply.

This is just one of many ways we’re adapting our work to rally for artists in these uncertain times. Follow us on social media for additional resources, and stay connected by joining our Facebook group, COVID-19 Response Group for Washington state artists, a dedicated digital space for artists to share information and build community as we move through this crisis.

We ask you to join us in support of artists now. Our goal is to continue to raise funds to support artists throughout this crisis, and also stay with artists during recovery and rebuilding. We know that artists will be the ones we look to for inspiration, leadership, and healing as we move into the future. But now it’s time for us to stand with artists.

Thank you for everything you do as a member of the Artist Trust community. As we look together to the future, we know that artists will show us the way.
