Gwendolyn Carol Wilson

Gwen went quietly and peacefully in her sleep. She was 72. She was the first of two daughters born to Hazel and Howard Lawson of Friday Harbor.

She attended and graduated from Friday Harbor High School in 1956. She met and married James V. Wilson, a 1949 graduate of Friday Harbor High School. They shared 35 years of love and devotion to each other. He preceded her in death in 1991.

Gwen leaves behind her daughters, Tracy Anthony, Rhonda Lyons, Bobbie Morrill, and son Jim Wilson, and sister Geneva Kenney, all of Friday Harbor.

Gwen loved gardening, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a loving and caring person. She will be sorely missed.

At her request, there will be no service.
