The Friday Harbor Sailing Club invites all sailors and folks interested in sailing to join our club. Everyone young or old are invited. We will offer sailboat racing, sail and power boat cruising, and social/informational meetings. You are invited to visit a club meeting to find out more. We meet the third Wednesday of each month at the Grange in Friday Harbor at 5:30 p.m. We have also planned several special events including our annual Saturday Market “Flotsam and Flea Sale” on April 22.

We will offer an ‘Introduction to Racing: Chalk Talk’ on April 8 for folks wanting an introduction to racing or wishing to learn more about sailboat racing. Our race calendar begins on Friday, May 5, with an ‘all comers invited’ sailboat race from Shipyard Cove to Reed Rock. We will have a free BBQ dinner to celebrate the winners following the race! Our first cruise will take place on the weekend of April 14, 15, 16 to Stuart Island. We head for Reed or Prevost Harbor for all kinds of fun that only our Salish Sea and our San Juan Islands can provide. You are invited to join us as a crew with a boat, or make club connections and join us as crew on a skippered boat heading that way.
