Get in gear for spring: learn to fix your bicycle like a pro

With spring upon us and warm weather fast approaching, it’s time to clear the dust from your bicycle’s gears and chains.
Island Rec will host it’s annual Bike Repair class Saturday, April 18, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Island Bicycles, 380 Argyle Avenue, Friday Harbor.
Experienced cyclist and Island Bicycle shop owner Paul Ahart will instruct attendees how to tune-up, repair gears, and properly clean their pedal-powered fun machines. By the end of the class, your bike will be tuned, cleaned and ready to hit the island roads.
