Free concert on the 4th

Submitted by Dan O’Bryant.

Lockdown! Yes, people, it might just be over. Masks come off, freedom at last! This past year was rough on us all. As the pandemic started to subside, we decided to create our own path for playing music again. With the traditional venues not hosting live music, we contacted Brickworks to set up some outdoor shows to bring live music to our community. Paying it forward, the band decided to foot the bill for the concert series. This community has been so gracious to us over the years, we decided to give back by offering free shows over the summer. There will be three shows – July 4, July 24 and Aug. 21. The Brickworks has been very accommodating and is a perfect venue to hold the events. Stay tuned for the lineups.

Local band, Tommy Dale and the Dangerfields will headline the first event on the 4th of July, with our friends the Rocky Bay Boys providing an opening set. The Dangerfield crew — Thomas Sandstrom, Dan O’Bryant, Steve Cutting, Steve Thorp, Ben Troutman and special guest, Teddy Deane — are ready to rock on Independence Day!

Bring your family, friends, neighbors, and join us from 6 – 9 p.m. on the 4th. Help us dance the COVID Blues away!
