FH girl leads bunny to state blue-ribbon award

Ten-year-old Jersie Angel capped a prize-winning performance at the county fair by earning first place in showmanship, among other awards, at the Washington State Fair rabbit judging division.

A blue-ribbon performance at the San Juan County Fair proved to be just the beginning.

Jersie Angel earned first place in showmanship in the rabbit judging division, among other awards, at the Washington State Fair, Saturday, Sept. 14.

Jersie, age 10, a member of the 4-H country critters, previously won the reserve grand champion for fitting and showmanship at the 2013 San Juan County Fair.
