David Lindley takes a break from his world tour with Jackson Browne to bring his eclectic and diverse musical talents back to San Juan Community Theatre, July 7 at 8 p.m.
Tickets are $24 for adults, $12 for student reserved, with $5 student RUSH one hour before the show, if there are still seats available.

Lindley last performed at San Juan Community Theatre in 2008, showcasing his wide array of electro-acoustic tunes that combine American folk, blues and bluegrass traditions with elements from Africa, Arabic, Asian, Celtic and Turkish musical sources. That, plus a demented sense of onstage humor and uncanny mimicry, made for a one-of-a-kind performance.
A longtime featured accompanist with Browne, Lindley’s legendary stringed-instrument virtuosity has been showcased on many of Browne’s albums, beginning with 1973’s “For Everyman,” and on classics such as “Late For The Sky” and “The Pretender.”
“What he played did as much to form my music as my writing those songs … This is one of the great slide players of all time,” Browne said in a 2010 Rolling Stone article.
