Clarinetist Sue Collado has again assembled a diverse group of island and mainland musicians.

This year’s island musicians are pianists Dorothy Baker and Carol Hooper, flutist Traci Wilson, clarinetist Sue Collado and cellist Sasha von Dassow. Joining them are bassoonist Pat Nelson, violinist Sharyn Peterson and pianist Kay Zavislak.

Works from two San Juan Island composers—Alex Shapiro and Richard Hieronymus—will be highlighted in the program, including Shapiro’s 1998 piece “Trio for Clarinet, Violin and Piano,” which ends with a raucous sort of gypsy dance.

Tickets are $18 for adults, $9 for student. For more information visit www.sjctheatre.org.
